Instructions

Prep the Fruit: Wash, hull, and crush your fruit using a potato masher. Measure exactly 4 cups of crushed fruit into a large saucepan.

Mix the Pectin: In a separate small saucepan, combine the Sure-Jell pectin with ¾ cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Combine and Heat: Stir the pectin mixture into the fruit. Add lemon juice (if using). Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil on high heat.
